Wild Cattle Creek Restaurant & Vineyard - Wandin, Yarra Valley Victoria
The Yarra Valley's newest cellar door and restaurant, Wild Cattle Creek Vineyard offers you the choice of dining in the restaurant, on the lawn or out on the terrace. In conjunction with Rustic Charm at Wild Cattle Creek and Wallace House Historic Homestead, Wild Cattle Creek can cater for everything from a quiet dinner for two overlooking the vines and hills, to a wedding or business lunch or dinner with bed & breakfast accommodation.
Located on the Warburton Highway between Wandin and Seville, Wild Cattle Creek offers a range of premium wines and is open for tastings from 11:30am daily. Tour groups to the winery are welcome, and can be easily catered for in the restaurant.
Shedfest 2007 - A Great Success
Shedfest Wine Festival was held over 2 days this year, the 13th and 14th October. The weather was reasonably good to us (especially on the Sunday) and we are happy to report that we once again enjoyed a very successful festival. We hosted a couple of hundred visitors over both days and a terrific time was had by all. Mainstream, our ever popular resident band played outside and had people dancing on the lawn. Wine tasting carried on throughout the weekend in our cellar door with all Wild Cattle Creek wines on offer, including our new Sparkling White. Many also took advantage of the great wine specials. Luke, our BBQ chef extraordinaire, cooked up a storm and the Yarra Valley Preserves chutney was a big hit.
Due to the success of the event enjoyed by all participating wineries, the festival will again run over 2 days next year, on the second weekend in October.
